WILLIAMSBURG YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADING LEAGUE

We are preparing for a great 2024 season and cannot wait to share our plans with everyone, there is much to look forward to. We are excited to introduce new players and coaches to the 32nd year of Hornets Football.

There is a long and storied history of success within the organization accounting for multiple championships and countless former Hornets moving on to play football beyond the Hornet organization. These players and cheerleaders have gone on to play for multiple high schools within James City County as well as surrounding cities. 

Our organization was built on safety, professionalism, fundamentals and above all fun! Our coaching staff is made up of former players at all levels of play, their mission is to transfer as much of their knowledge to athletes at a level that is easily understood and appropriate for the athlete's age group. Our coaches will not ask your child to do anything that they are not willing to do themselves or have not done. 

The sport of football is physically and mentally demanding, regardless of level of play. Our organization stops at nothing to ensure safety, and the well-being of our athletes. Through registration fees and fundraisers, we supply every Hornet level with the best football equipment in the world that is certified for safety every year. 

Mission Statement:
The mission of the Williamsburg Youth Football and Cheerleading League is to field football and cheer teams that excel on the field, in the classroom, and positively impact our schools and community. Every student athlete in our program will be treated with respect and dignity as we strive to reach our potential as an organization and as individuals. We will always play our games and cheer with class, within the rules, and with great intensity.

◦    Compete for a Peninsula Youth Football Conference Championship   every season.
